Comparison Capabilities Windows 7 and Windows 8

It may never occur to questions such as these in mind:
  • Windows 7 vs Windows 8 which one is better? or
  • Between Windows 7 and Windows 8 roughly faster where? or maybe
  • If you play PC games preferably use Windows 7 or Windows 8?
  • And so forth ..
If you are not living in a cave, you would have heard about the latest operating system launched by Microsoft is Windows 8. There are a lot of positive and negative feedback about the operating system on this one, and it is not uncommon questions or discussions about "Which is better between Windows 7 and Windows 8" can easily be encountered in various blogs, forums and websites. And here is a review of comparative capabilities between win 7 and win 8 that softmenia took from microsoftportal.net:Testing: Download, PCMark, browser, coding following tests carried out using quality testing systems that include an Intel Core i7-3960X, 16 GB DDR3 RAM-1866 and GeForce GTX 670, motherboard Asrock X79 Extreme11. Hard drive Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB primary.

Tests PCMark 7 shows us that Windows 8 is faster than Windows 7 in the multimedia test with a ratio of 6%. Testing: Copying files, paperwork, gaming performance.


Windows 8 is armed with a new set of Office 2013, and we found differences in working with us on an excel document windows 8 was 10% faster compared to using windows 7.
Windows 8 has a new Explorer interface for file transfer, which provide more accurate data about the speed and estimated time of completion of the transfer plus the transmission of data in multiple windows, and stunning user interface, but the performance for large file transfers, jointly or separately, leaving ratio is very small. Windows 7 and Windows 8 in this case show similar performance.
Finally, we tested the performance of gaming with Just Cause 2, Hard Reset and Battlefield 3. As in previous tests, here the graphics driver more influential than anything else. Both operating systems provide the same performance, but Windows 7 looks a little better. Hopefully useful ^ ^
